Brief Introduction:

Zhiwu Li received the B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, the M.S. degree in Automatic Control, and the Ph.D. degree in Manufacturing Engineering, all from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 1989, 1992, and 1995, respectively. He has published two monographs in Springer (2009) and CRC Press (2013) and 150+ publications in Automatica and IEEE Transactions. His research was cited by 300+ academic and industrial institutes over 50+ countries, including IBM, HP, ABB, Volvo, GE, GM, and Huawei. His current research interests include Petri net theory and application, supervisory control of discrete event systems, workflow analysis, system reconfiguration, game theory, production scheduling and planning, and data and process mining. He is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in the World, 27th edition, 2010. He is a Fellow of IEEE (2016).
