Brief Introduction:

Huijie Zhang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Information Science and Technology, Northeast Normal University and. He serves as the head of the Intelligent Big Data Visualization and Visual Analysis Laboratory, and a visiting scholar in the research group of Professor Han-Wei Shen at Ohio State University. He is also the IEEE member, CCF senior member, and standing member of the Visualization and Visual Analysis Committee of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG). He mainly engaged in the research work of scientific visualization, information visualization, visual analysis, three-dimensional GIS research, etc. He has published more than 60 papers in “Journal of Computers”, “Pattern Recognition”, international conferences like “ACM SIGSPATIAL GIS”, “EuroVis”, “PacificVis”, and other journals and conferences. Besides he published an academic monograph and chaired he general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Natural Science Youth Fund Project, the Key Research and Development projects of the Science and Technology Development Plan of Jilin Province, etc.
