Brief Introduction:

Jiang Huilin graduated from Changchun Institute of Optics and machinery in 1969 and graduated from Changchun Institute of Optics and machinery in 1987. He used to be the president of Changchun University of technology, and now he is the director of the academic committee. He also serves as vice chairman of China Ordnance Industry Association, executive director of China Optical Society and China Optical Engineering Society, member of aerospace Expert Committee of science and Technology Commission of Central Military Commission, and deputy director of Academic Committee of State Key Laboratory of Applied Optics of Changchun Institute of Optics and mechanics.

He has been engaged in applied optical technology research for a long time, and has presided over 36 national "863" key projects and National Natural Science Foundation major projects, making outstanding contributions to the country. In the aspect of optical design theory, the derived second-order spectrum theory was put forward. Academician Wang Daheng evaluated it as "one of the four major developments of optical design in China in recent years". The theory of technical and economic tolerance of optical system was put forward. The paper was included in the "milestone series" by the international society of optical engineering. The achievement was awarded the third prize of national science and Technology Progress Award in 1996. In the aspect of optoelectronic dynamic performance test, the laser special performance test system has been successfully developed, and the test index is superior to the requirements of "test operation regulations" of the United States. The results have been selected into the national standard, and have important applications in weapons and equipment. In 2009, he won the second prize of national science and technology progress award. In space laser communication, we have successfully developed two generations of airborne optical terminals and "one to many" simultaneous laser communication device, and realized high-speed dual dynamic laser communication under strong interference for the first time in China. Among them, the high-speed laser communication distance between aircraft is higher than the best level reported abroad, and won the second prize of national technological invention in 2010. In 2014, he won the science and technology progress award of He Liang He Li fund.
